This is the second year that we've bought coffee from the ROAS (Regional de Agricultores Orgánicos de la Sierra) and look forward to continuing into the future. ROAS is a cooperative made up of 270 farmer-members. This year, they put together a few shipments highlighting the women farmers in the cooperative. Women are often marginalized in coffee so we're excited to see ROAS take a proactive role in working towards equity. But, our interest in ROAS doesn't just lie in their social values, they also produce great coffee! We're offering this lot as a dark roast, and it makes a great single origin espresso.
